Leora muttered something and threw her hand up, sending a curtain of darkness up to intercept the sparks. The darkness should absorb the light, but if the light was brighter than the darkness...just like Blayke's light was pretty much one of the only weaknesses Leora had, then she'd have to try something else. At the very least, she'd deflect the sparks. She wasn't going to let Alex get hurt again.
The witches weakness against the angels darkness with the sparks was part of her down fall. The sparks back fired and hit her arm. She screamed in pain and fell to the floor, clutching her arm. She looked up at them and gave one last ounce of strength she had left. She lifted her good are and pointed a finger at the floor beneath them. She made the floor crumble inwards around them.
Alex panicked as he could feel the floor beneath them go. He fell through into the darkness below, unsure where it would lead. He presumed nowhere good.

Leora could be heard swearing when the floor gave way and she fell with Alex. She stretched out her arm for Alex and pulled him close as they crashed into the next floor, which, thankfully was only wood. Although the wood shards and splinters tore through her skin, leaving great gashes, she called up a cushion of darkness to catch them before they crashed into the next one. Landing on the cushion of darkness, Leora groaned.
Alex breathed a sigh of relief at their safety. He sat up and looked down at Leora "Are you ok?" He asked, noticing her cuts "You don't look to good." Okay, so maybe his safety. He wasn't so sure about her's. "Do you need help?" He asked through the darkness around them. Where were they anyway? The day hadn't exactly one as planned. Although they did Find out what they came here for.
"Havana. We need to get Havana," Leora said groaning as she sat up. Lightly, she brushed the mass of cuts on her back and winced. She was pretty sure there were more than a dozen splinters in her cuts, but she couldn't do anything about it now. One thing for certain though, it would have been a lot less worse if she'd been wearing a jacket and not just a shirt and pants ((I literally forgot what she was wearing lols)). Looking over at Alex, she smiled weakly through the darkness and said, "I'm fine, but we need to ge Havana before that Witch does what she's planning to do to her."
"I agree." Alex said, exiting from the cushion on darkness. He looked around without really seeing anything. He made his hands light up in flames seeing a circle of light surround them. All he saw was dirt. He looked at the walls and saw earth, roots climbing up and down them. Again, he saw the same for the ground. "I think we're underground." He said, touching the walls. "Where does the path lead?"
Leora dissolved the cushion and stood, looking around the fire illuminated room and down the path that Alex was talking about. Ignoring the pain, she walked over to him and said, "I don't know, but let's find out. I'm worried about Havana." They hadn't known each other long, but Leora really liked that girl and would find it a disappointing waste if Havana died now because of that horrid witch!
"I am too. I don't want to lose her Leora." Alex said, feeling an ache in his heart "I only just got her. Besides, I can't lose anyone else today. No today." He wiped a tear from his face and walked forward not knowing how far it was to the exit, how many turns to take or if it even ended up anywhere. They could just keep walking around in circles for all he knew. "How about we mark this spot and keep doing that every 10 minuets. Just in case we get lost." He walked up a and let his flaming hand press against the earth, letting it burn and fall away, leaving a deep hand print in the dirt wall. "Hows that?"
Following behind Alex she couldn't help but think he as a good kid, being nice and strong. After a while, she was glad Alex came up with the idea, because it seemed like an endless path.
"Good, we'll need it in case this is like Minotaur's labyrinth, which, I dearly hope it's not," said Leora in response to his question.
