I think The Wheat Belly is probably just another book that's part of the Ban Bread Craze that has taken the nation by storm. Poor gluten. It's been getting such a bad rap lately. I read in an article that only 5% of people actually are "allergic" to gluten. The rest just have some sort of intolerance to it, among other foods. I think it's time we stopped counting the carbs and started enjoying a sandwich...or two. Needless to say I will not be reading this book. And if I do I will enjoy a package of King's Hawaiian Rolls as I read :)
