Angie | 225 comments I've starting reading, at last, lol. I love the way you wrote the beginning:) You show that Ildanis still has a great sense of humour and I just love that its a story within a story:O

message 7: by Parvathi (new)

Parvathi | 11 comments Aww thanks! He was so much fun to write :) And challenging. I'm glad you like him!

Angie | 225 comments Im over 23% now Parvathi and Ildanis has just been made an adept. I love his masters cat so much:) But when he was on his way to Chimera and the road went all weird how did that idea come from? And with the land and villages getting low on food showed how bad things are getting for the ordinary people as well, it makes me wonder if things can be made right.

Parvathi | 11 comments Awesome! Writing the cat was was interesting, I was surprised (and happy!) at how he turned out :)

Some of those ideas came from a dream, actually, a few years ago.

message 10: by Angie (new)

Angie | 225 comments That must of been one interesting dream, lol Do you have a pad next to your bed so you can write down your dreams? I think Stephen King does this and actually recommends doing that in his On Writing book.

message 11: by Parvathi (new)

Parvathi | 11 comments Not usually, I remember my dreams quite well. I do write my dreams into the book when the scenes present themselves.

Yes it was a very vivid dream! :D

Angie | 225 comments I've not been able to read anything for a couple of days Parthavi, my eyes are bad. But I'll be reading again tomorrow. Its been driving me crazy not reading!!

message 13: by Parvathi (new)

Parvathi | 11 comments I'm sorry to hear that Angie...what happened? Are you feeling better now?

message 14: by Angie (new)

Angie | 225 comments They've finally told me its recurrent corneal erosion. The top layer of my eye tears and it affects my sight. Its normally OK after a day resting but this time it was bad so its just taking a bit longer:( I can only look at the screen for about half an hour then rest them again. Its frustrating not being able to read but everything looks fuzzy. I'll have to get some audio books!!

message 15: by Parvathi (new)

Parvathi | 11 comments Oh dear...I'm really sorry to hear that :( Please take care, I hope you feel better soon.

Audio books are a nice idea :)
