Caroline Rose swam in and out of the ruins, exploring. She loved to go on adventures on her own, and this was a good day to do so. She smiled as she found an old pearl necklace on the floor, and picked up to look at it closely. It was beautiful, so she decided to keep it. She grinned. The thing about the Ruins is that nothing belonged to anyone so she could take anything that caught her eye.
Ariel was glad to have lost her sister at last as that meant she could go exploring. She saw the ruins in the distance and swam up to them smiling. She couldn't wait to see what this place had in store for her as this was somewhere she had never been before. She caught a glimpse of another mermaid tail through some old rotted pieces of wood. Ariel decided to swim up to a piece of wood and hide behind it in case the other mermaid wasn't friendly.
Caroline Rose spotted another mermaid out if the corner and laughed as she saw her hide. She swam over. "Hey." She said with a grin. She was never shy, so she usually just approached people whenever she felt like it.
Arile sighed reviled that it wasn't someone scary or someone who would tell on her- well at least she didn't think so. "Hello," she said with a friendly smile feeling a little stupid for hiding but she was used to doing so in case someone caught her. She didn't want to be banned from exploring as she loved it to much.
Caroline Rose grinned and decided to introduce herself. "I'm Caroline Rose, but you can call me Caroline or Rose." She said. "How about you?"
"I'm Ariel but you can call me Ari. It is nice to meet you Rose" she said introducing herself. She hoped to make a friend as the only people she really spoke to were who sisters and while she loved them, they did get on her nerves.
"Hello Ari. Actually I changed my mind - can you just call me Caroline?" She said with a laugh. (( be back In about ten mins ))
Alexandra swam over to the ruins, one of her usually hang out places. She loved the idea of having a piece of history, of her past life, which she could hang out in. The water moved fluidly around her as she approached them cautiously.

"Sure." She said with a smile. She didn't really mind what she called the other girl along as they got along okay. She brushed some of her loose blonde hair out of her eyes. She wondered if their were any interesting human relics here. She would love to know what it was like on the surface but she couldn't becuase of the curse.

((sorry it took a sec, character creating))Alexandra looked up, realizing two other mermaids were here. She watched them through what was the remains of a window, wondering if she knew either of them.
Ariel thought she saw a glimmer of scales out the corner of her but when she turned around she couldn't see anything. She put it down to a trick of light as there didn't seem to be anything there.
Caroline Rose looked over at where Ariel was looking. "Who's that?" She said, realising it was another mermaid.
"I don't know." She said now seeing the mermaid. How could she have been so blind before? It was obvious that there was a mermaid there. She shook her head frowning slightly.
Caroline nodded slowly. "If she wants to, she'll come over." She decided to say, as it didn't look like the mermaid wanted to associate with them. She swam in a circle, accidentally scaring a couple of small fish.
"Sorry!" She said to them, even though they were fish.
Alexandra swam towards them, offering a small wave to show she was friendly. Her red hair wafted out around her like flames, and a small smile was painted on her lips
Ariel nodded. "So found anything interesting?" she asked as she looked around. She didn't know which part of the ruins to look at first. It all looked so exciting and new.
Caroline showed her the necklace she was wearing around her neck. "Yes, this." She said with a smile, showing her the necklace.
Alexandra swam over to them, "Hey" she said softly, "I'm Alexandra.And that necklace is beautiful" she complimented politely
"It's pretty," she commented as she smiled at the other mermaid who had just swam near them. She wished she wasn't trapped at home so often so she could actually meet more people.
Caroline smiled."Thank you. I wonder whose it was. It seems pretty old." She told her, she was pretty into history.
Alexandra admired the way the light rebounded off it, "I used to have a necklace like that..." she said wistfully, her mind taking her back to "before" for a moment, before she snapped out of it, shaking her head to clear the thoughts away
Caroline smiled at her. "Really? That's cool. I'm glad I found this." She said and grasped one of the pearls to look at it.
Ariel wondered if the necklace could have belonged to the other mermaid or if it was just one that looked similar. She looked at the necklace again. It was pretty and it looked to be expensive.
"Yeah, it's really awesome" Alexandra smiled, "Also, sorry, we may have met before but I'm terrible with names. What are yours?" She asked, her Australian accent still prevalent even though it had been many years since she had ever been there
Caroline smiled and both of them, then felt a rush of water which made her turn around. She spotted a dolphin and swam over. "Hello." She said as she stroked it's nose, not noticing the boy.
"I'm Ariel and the one who just swam off is Caroline." she said. She saw the dolphin a smiled wondering if there was a pod of them around. If so she hoped they had new born calves as they were so cute.
Alexandra smiled "Well it's awesome to meet both of you!" she swam over towards the dolphin, summersulating lazily on a wave.
She laughed slightly, as she knew small amounts of dolphin language. She spoke to it back slightly, saying that he was a gorgeous dolphin, then turned around. She jumped, not realising a boy was behind her. "Oh sorry is he yours?" She asked him.
She laughed slightly. "Whats his name?" She asked him. She then turned back to the dolphin and swam around him.
Alexandra smiled shyly at the boy. So many new people in one day,it was slightly unnerving. "He's very beautiful" she commented, smiling at Blu, her green eyes twinkling
"My name is Alexandra," the red-head replied with a smile, brushing strands of hair out of her eyes, "And it's wonderful to meet the both of you."
Caroline nodded listening. "I'm Caroline Rose. But call me Caroline." She said with a sparkle of her eyes.
Ariel wasn't sure if she should stay where she was or go over to them. She wasn't shy or anything but she had a natural wariness of new people that disappeared within about five seconds of talking to them.
Caroline looked back at Ariel. "Hey Ariel, come over here!" She called to her.
Caroline laughed. "Blu, how about we race?"
Caroline grinned. "Awesome." She said and stroked Blu's nose before swimming to a large rock.
"To the other side of the barrier reef and back?"
Alexandra laughed, "You should race, we'll can be your cheerleaders" she smiled over at Sam, actual happiness dotting the dimples on her cheeks
Katherine grinned. "Ready, set, GO!" She said and rushed off. She looked back at Sam and Alexandra, laughing.
"I'm sure it will be" Alexandra smiled, bumping him playfully with her dark green tail. "I'm not entirely sure who to cheer for" she laughed
"Oh?" Alexandra replied curiously, while occasionally calling out cheers, "Do tell" she grinned. Her life was anything but "average," when it came to humans, so this intrigued her.
Caroline laughed and swam faster, ahead of him slightly. She reached the end of the barrier reef and started swimming back, her blonde hair flying out behind her.
Caroline groaned and swam faster, nearly at the finish.
Alexandra smiled sadly, "I'm sorry to hear that...My mother didn't want me. I slowed down her modeling career."
Caroline laughed as she finished a couple of seconds after. She stroked his nose and swam to the others. "Blu won." She said with a grin. She was never bothered whether she won or lost things.
"Good job, to the both of you" Alexandra smiled, clapping her hands joyfully. "Congratulations Blue" she patted the dolphin gently
Ariel swam over to them and watched them race. She laughed lightly at it. She came to rest next to Alexandra. "Who do you think will win?" she asked.
Caroline laughed. "Blu won."
Ariel nodded and cooed over the Blu. She loved dolphins. It was a shame there wasn't more around the kingdom and that they were only their for certain months of the year due to migration patterns.
