Takes place in Tangier, Morocco. Easy reading. Captured within the first sentence or two.

Yes very sad about Notre Dame. Lucky for the renovation in place otherwise more artifacts and such would have been destroyed.

I've been listening to the audio-versions in my browser via SALON aka SALS.

What a wonderful era we live in with these books available on SALS via "Overdrive" via the Internet! No need to go to the library!

I know it's in the Fantasy Genre, but is it also considered Science Fiction? Why or why not?

That was a GREAT experience, Nina!

Nina, here is a link to Linda's review of "Clock Dance":

Linda gave it only 2 stars.
I haven't read it.
Clock Dance by Anne Tyler

Glad you enjoyed the book, Nina.

That's Marilyn alright! LOL But she really wanted more than that.
She said: "All I want is to be loved, for myself and for my talent."

"A word in earnest is as good as a speech."
---Movie: "Bleak House" [novel by Charles Dickens]
I love a good turn of phrase!

There's a French word for when you remember a good retort too late.
The French word is: "L'esprit de l'escalier" (literally, "staircase wit").
It means remembering the retort too late, as when you're going down the stairs, having left the place where the conversation took place.
