Part 1: (view spoiler)[ I like Cassie and her badass attitude. Also, I like her POV. I felt sad to hear about her mother's passing. I found it funny that there was a college professor by the name Dawkins. Also, i feel bad that she got shot. She is smart for a 16-year-old. (hide spoiler)]

Part 2: (view spoiler)[ The POV has changed. I was a bit confused at first, but I figured it out. Now, we get to see into the mind of Ben, Cassie's crush. My question is if Ben is an Other or not? This is quite interesting to see. (hide spoiler)]

Part 3: (view spoiler)[ The infected hunter is trying to kill Cassie, but he can't seem to do it. Instead, he shoots her in the leg. I like how he thinks that Cassie is a strong creature. However, I do not think he is as horrible as he says he is. Now this guy has to be one of the Others. (hide spoiler)]

Part 4: (view spoiler)[ Cassie meets Evan after he saves her and Sammy's bear. He takes care of her, and he does other things as well such as hunting. He read her diary, kissed her, and made her embarrassed because he knew she lied about Ben Parrish being her boyfriend. I do sense another side of Cassie. A side that is more afraid than badass, in other words, more vulnerable. (hide spoiler)]

Part 5: (view spoiler)[ Sammy is taken to Camp Haven, where they screen the kids. Red means that they are good, while green means that they have a fever. I feel bad for those poor kids especially Sammy for having to go through this. I hope he is rescued soon. (hide spoiler)]

Part 6: (view spoiler)[ Ben/Zombie is taking care of Sammy/Nugget. They graduate top of their graduating class. I like how Sammy attaches himself to Ben. I hope Ben can keep this promise, as Cassie is keeping hers. (hide spoiler)]

Then it goes back in time again to when her brother was taken away from her family. I wish it would've been a lot more decipherable as to where we were at the time. Oh and I definitely didn't know what to think about Cassie's dad. I have a feeling he has something to do with it all. (hide spoiler)]

So you know how I said I planned on getting 3 hours of reading done when I got home? Well I failed. Miserably :/ I haven't got any reading done, and it's dinner time, meaning I won't get any reading done tonight. I was supposed to be my free afternoon, and if I'd read my prescribed music pages, it would've only taken me like 20 minutes. But instead, I read the wrong readings, which took me 2 hours and then the 20 minutes required for my actual reading. You can imagine how freaking pissed off I was that I'd done that, based on my current rage. I actually wanted to punch something. I need to have it done by the 13th, and I haven't even reached 50% through. I should get it finished tomorrow, but we'll see. The world's just out to get me right now. It's the most unfair thing ever. I was so looking forward to this afternoon of reading for 3 hours, and them bam I go and read the wrong bloody reading for no freaking reason and my afternoon (the one I needed for reading) is gone.
