Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs--I'm finally getting around to reading it.
Another category that will difficult to choose, since it accounts for almost my entire TBR list. I will try to pick one that is part of a series or trilogy I already started reading.
Oh I have so many to choose from for this! The sensible thing to do would be like Natalia go for something from a series I've already started but I doubt I'll manage to stick to that. Among others on my tbr list are The Lies of Locke Lamora, Luck in the Shadows and Daughter of Smoke & Bone...
I had "The Lies of Locke Lamora" on my wild card list and "Daughter of Smoke and Bone" we are reading in my book club, so I'll probably use one of those too.
For this I'll be reading The Name of the Wind. I'm very excited about it! I don't read a lot of fantasy, but I feel I need to get out of my comfort zone.
If Fantasy is not your favorite genre, I have to admit it's not mine, here are some suggestions of ways to ease in. This is a book I liked even though I rarely read fantasy novels.Stardust

Orson Scott CardOrson Scott Card has a huge list of fantasy to fantasy/science fiction including Ender's Game and the rest of the Ender Series.
Piers AnthonyAll of his Xanth series is fabulous and funny too. A little philosophy thrown in (how to deal with Murphy for instance).
chalker, jackWhy his picture does not come up, I do not know.
Would recommend any of the Well World series. I am thinking about one of his or a Piers Anthony.

Thanks for the warning, Martha!
I'll read The colour of magic by Terry PrachettI don't read a lot of fantasy, but I've been wanting to read this for a while.
I've just read The Winter People by Jennifer McMahon which combines fantasy and horror. It is a creepy kind of story that flips from present day to 1908. A good wintery read.

I've changed my mind on this. I may read The Once and Future King by T.H. White for this category. I was planning on reading The Name of the Wind but since it's been a 3 year wait for book 3, I may hold off and binge read the series when the 3rd book is released.
I'm reading "Coraline" for this category. I heard it beeing referred to as "dark fantasy for kids" so I think it'll be an appropriate read. So far I'm utterly enjoying it.
I read Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. It was a quick, easy read and I really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to the movie version out this fall - can't wait to see what Tim Burton does with it!
