That was my problem too, so I chose a very quick read and one that's quite different from the movie: I Am Legend by Richard Matheson which really didn't have that much to do with the Will Smith film.

I chose The Glass Menagerie for this task. I saw the movie when I was in my teens. It was a quick, easy read and I really enjoyed it.

I read "The Giver" by Lois Lowry for this! Unfortunately, I liked the movie much better :(
