I didn't like the beginning it was really slow compared to the other books but at the end it got really really good
Then Harry gets so angry when he sees Ron and Hermione and finds out they have been keeping things from him
and how they say
'Hello, Harry,' said George, beaming at him. 'We thought we heard your dulcet tones.'
'You don't want to bottle up your anger like that, Harry, let it all out,' said Fred, also beaming. 'There might be a couple of people fifty miles away who didn't hear you.'

Lol, especially the part abut Fred and George
I'm listening to the audio right now, Dumbledor's sly way of getting Harry out of trouble over the D.A. is one of my favorite parts of the book. Does anyone think that Cho was unfair with Harry?
Absolutely, like she has no respect or dignity! Well, obviously, she is not worthy of deserving any respect from a great person like McGonagall.

Me too! The toad has been challenged by a stern feline!

Evelyn wrote: "Oh I love McGonagall in this book.....It unscrews the other way. My god! She told Peeves this. That wasn't expected. Not at all. And from her!!!
Have a biscuit Potter. The best plot twist ever...."
Yes I love that part!!!
Also in this book the coming out of Fred and George more. Especially against Umbridge. The creation of Weasleys Wizard Weezes. THE BEST THING EVER
I think it's the darkest of the books. It's not that the danger doesn't continue to ramp up, but in this book, the paranoiac atmosphere, the inability to admit that there is danger, make it darker than when the danger is open and can be fought plainly.Like this
There were relatives of their victims among the Hogwarts students, who now found themselves the unwilling objects of a gruesome sort of reflected fame as they walked the corridors: Susan Bones, whose uncle, aunt, and cousins had all died at the hands of one of the ten, said miserably during Herbology that she now had a good idea what it felt like to be Harry.
"And I don't know how you stand it- it's horrible" she said bluntly.
I loved this one! I thought that Umbridge was one of the most realistic and well developed villains I've ever read about because she was the last person anybody would expect to be villainous!

Julia wrote: "another one of my favorite parts is when Ron becomes a prefect..."and how no one believes its actually his, and then Hermione comes in haha
My favourite part is where Harry says "I must not tell lies" because a.) a taste of her own medicine for Umbridge and b.) sassy Harry at it again
