Char | 2 comments The book I meant to read in 2015. I just finished A Dance with Dragons and I'm ready for Winds of Winter, but this will have to do in the meantime.

Katie | 11 comments I read this for week 40: A novella from your favourite genre - my favourite genre being fantasy. Though actually this is a collection of 3 novellas.

J Austill | 1130 comments I'm reading this for week 24: A "between the numbers" book of a series. This contains 3 novellas which should be numbered 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3 in The Song of Ice and Fire.

I've read the 5 main books in the series, but I'll have to decide whether or not to read the final two novellas this year or to push them to next year. Possibly dependent on a release date for Winds of Winter.

Matthias Stephan | 169 comments I read this for ATY 19, #19 (a book by an author with more than one book on your TBR).

It was a nice series of novellas. I actually think Martin is better with this format (single story) as then he doesn't get lost in trying to keep all of his timelines doing (I am looking forward to Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring - but still no idea how he is going to reconcile all of the open timelines in ONLY two novels). I really like Dunk and Egg, and I only wish there were more of them. Focusing on the sidelines of the major players in Westeros seems like a great way to go, and I hope Martin writes more in this vein (and I am quite looking forward to reading Fire and Blood, the other Martin left on my TBR).
