Mother: Aquarius, age unknown because she is a mermaid and her mother’s family is more focused on nature and less than in the modern world.
Aquarius was always more fascinated with the world outside the sea, where humans dwelled. But she was never allowed to see any places or people near because not all humans are friendly to mermen and mermaids. Aquarius is one of the rare mermaids who can transform herself into human shape for a certain time.
Besides of that her mother’s family is very traditional and don’t like the modern life, the technology, the social internet. They feared that Aquarius would be hunted or seen as a research object for scientists.
Father: Logan Houghton, 36. Logan and her mother Aquarius married early in their age because they knew only when they were married that her mother could leave the underwater world.
Her father Logan lived in Long Island and he was rescued by Aquarius after he fell from a yacht of his colleague. Logan’s family are also more traditional, yet they like the modern life more and accepted Aquarius immediately after they heard about her. Logan loved Aquarius by first sight. Logan works in an office and sells computer programmes.

Body: Flat and slender. She is larger than other humans.
Other: She has normally human’s feet, but the skin between her toes is webbed. And she can transform into a mermaid at will.
Personality: Brooke is often lively and loves family time. She spends a lot time with her parents and they are a real team. Brooke also tried to find friends and though she is cheery and optimistic, she couldn’t find friends yet. That made Brooke timid and lonely. However when Brooke talks, she can be really bubbly and is normally really friendly, kind and supportive. Brooke can be very charismatic and charming when she is singing.
History: When her parents met each other, not everyone was happy. Aquarius parents were furious because Aquarius married a human. It was love at first sight and that’s why both married at the pier. It is not necessary that a priest marries merfolk, but a friend need to be there who is convinced that both love each other dearly. Then the friend can allow the marriage by thinking and spreading wonderful thoughts of love, friendship and happiness and the marriage is sealed with a kiss.
After their marriage, Aquarius lived with Logan and both were very happy. Yet, they knew that they never could go to the place again where her parents lived. It is a great shame to marry a human or other creature. Aquarius family would never like to face Aquarius again.
Besides of that Aquarius was pregnant so Logan decided they live with Logan’s family from now on.
Brooke was born and Aquarius noticed that Brooke doesn’t need to go to the sea regularly (though Brooke loves the sea and has special abilities in there) and so Brooke can go to a special High school: Fantasy High

Appearance: Gwendolyn can always be found in her red or black leather jacket, because one, it’s very comfortable and two, because it was a Christmas present that Jax gave to her last year. Usually in blue or black jeans, but can be seen in shorts ((usually basketball, unless Aly made her wear fancy shorts)) on a rare occasion with her black combat boots and blue Embark backpack.
Personality: Gwen is somewhat shy, but you would never know that if you saw here around her friends. Gwendolyn is known from three of her personality traits: Sarcasm, Loyalty and Intelligence. Gwendolyn is extremely smart, she even skipped a grade. She loves books and aces all things having to do with school and knowledge. Her “ fatal flaw” is definitely be loyalty. She has the back of anyone she cares about, especially her friends. She cares about people and makes sure that their okay, she’s sincere and loving to her group of family and friends. Gwendolyn is also known for using sarcasm, when around people she cares about, she loves to joke around. She reverts to joking around when a friend is feeling down or just to lighten up the mood. And though she can be a joster at times, she is serious in times of danger or profound situation.Gwen is athletically fit and creative. Her favorite sports are basketball, soccer and baseball. As athletic as she is she is much more creative, she loves to paint, draw and design stuff.
History: Gwendolyn is a caster. She’s a Natural Empathy who can affect the elements and weather easily. These powers are only given to powerful Casters that not only have one power, but multiple that can awaken at anytime. For example a sub power of Gwen’s being able to duplicate the powers of other Casters for some period of time though it wears off
