I have read the full series to the point of trying to wait "patiently" for the last book. I may try to read these as well! I love this series!

I'm looking into starting the Elite soon as I have it at home waiting I've just been a bit bombarded with other books (so much to read, so little time)

Yes, there are people who have issues with the series but I try to look at it as a 'What if this was the world we were forced to live in right now.' type of deal and it kind of helped me relate to what America was feeling. Oh The Elite...I won't post anything until you read it. I did cry a bit.

There were times I wanted to shake America silly for things she was doing, but I loved the book. Maxon, okay there are some things that you find out later in the books that makes you a little more understanding of him in the first book and then I also read the short story that gave a little more to him.

I am so in love with this. I do not re read often because I have so many other books to read but this is one I love.

I almost forgot to comment on here that I read the book! I really liked The Selection. Yeah America could be annoying at times but i got over it and Maxon was much more likable than I thought he would be. The one person I was over pretty quickly was Aspen even if others weren't. All in all the book was good and I can't wait to get on to the next one.
Oh my gosh, I could not handle Aspen. Like just totally couldn't. I loved Maxon and America was annoying but I think some of her problems wouldn't have been so bad if Aspen hadn't been in the castle as a guard.
That was about how I felt when it came to him. I just could not stand him. He was so selfish. He kept putting America in danger and he just never seemed to care and I was all like well he's rude much.
Discuss the books as you read them. There are currently four books and a book full of the short stories.
