I like being done and meeting the arbitrary deadline I gave myself (June), but I find this challenge very motivating. I have a habit of getting stuck when I finish a book and can't decide what to read next. This challenge helped make those choices and had me checking out a lot of books I wouldn't previously consider (a different kind of rut). I have been haphazardly marking off Marvel challenges for books I read that didn't fall into a DC category. I might continue through their roster, but not with the same voracity.

Mostly, I want to use the summer to catch up on several series that I have started but have not yet finished.

This week was a win for Team DC, who had two MVPs. Greg recruited Atom and Swamp Thing while defeating GR and Melanie added Batgirl, Katana and Hawkman to her roster and fully completed her team. The same feat was also achieved by Veronica, who made Hawkman her final addition. Milou also added another Grim Reaper defeat while Ana A recruited Firestorm and Nick added Batgirl to his roster.
For Team Marvel Wayland was the MVP by recruiting Jessica Jones, Star-Lord and Snoopy. Snoopy was also recruited by Shawnie. Kate added Vision and Thor to her roster and Christina defeated Grim Reaper.
The Energy Cell race went 3:0 to Team DC.

Yes, as Roger already stated we did an extension in the past and under these circumstances I see no issue with adding another week for the book.
So instead of ending on the 31st, you can finish the book until August 7th, which is a Sunday, so you'll have a weekend at the end to catch up. :)

I picked up the first one because I saw someone else on here reading it, and the idea of "stephanie plum meets urban fantasy" had a certain sort of horrifying appeal :D

Not sure about it at the moment though. As it's continued the series has gotten more and more ridiculous, plot wise, and i've started the next one and she has gone for the series-fiction trope I hate worse than any other, which is disappointing.

Hey gusy, just a quick update on the weekly update schedule. We had the update mostly on Saturday before.
As my work schedule has changed, I work weekends now, but always have the first days of the week off, so the update is moving to Mondays, where I have enough time.
So, there won't be an update tomorrow, the next one will be on Monday.
