I wanted to drop the book many times but I told myself if I finished it I'd let myself buy a new pair of shoes. So, yay me! :-)

I did end up loving Uprooted though!
I must be in the distinct minority that enjoyed Strange in A Strange Land. Then again, I've been on the other side of that with past BOTM picks...
Lol! Good plan Veronica. Nothing like a bit of shoe retail therapy to get a girl motivated. Must try that one on myself ;-)

That's the spirit, ladies! You have to treat yourself! ;-)Greg wrote: "lol Veronica :)

I never even made it to Uprooted this month. I should have picked that one to read first.

I couldn't find the energy to attempt Stranger in a Strange Land. The luke warm reviews turned me off, and I read Uprooted very recently.
Hey guys,
Due to my limited time this week, we're doing points next weekend, but as it is the end of the month, I'd like to present our next villain of the month, which is a lesser known enemy of the Avengers, but one of my personal favorites.
Enter the Grim Reaper. Have fun beating him. :)

1. The Grim Reaper
Read a book with "grim" or "reaper" in the title or which has a manifestation of death (can be the death god of a fantasy world) as a character.
2. Brother of Wonder Man
Read a book with "wonder" in the title or where the main character has a brother, who is also a character in the book. (The brother doesn't need to be a pov character)
3. Magical Scythe
Read a book with a scythe on the cover or where the main character gets a magical weapon.
