Vanessa | 8 comments So, i don't know if any one will read this but, i read this novel when i was in high school and have been trying to find it ever since, i don't remember the title or author but i remember the details pretty well, so if anybody can help me out, it would be great.

so it starts of with the girl meeting the guy over the summer, she lives in the small town and her came for vacation with his family, they fall in love, however, things happen when they are together one night and she starts getting these feelings or visions or whatever its called of somebody dying, being killed i think. anyway, apparently the person that was dying was the guys mother and when he realises he blames the girl because he thinks she could have saved his mom. he doesn't understand that she can't tell when the events are occurring. they end up breaking and the book then fast forwards to their adult life.. she now works for the fbi and when his daughter goes missing she's the one on the case...it also involves a serial killer i think..

that is all i can remember, i do hope someone actually reads this. PS. when i said i read it in highschool its not that long ago, i'm a 2nd year university student so i prob read it like in 2009 -2012 there about.

Thank you in advance!

Already 11 people have read your request - and it's a slow day. :)

The Missing by Shiloh Walker seems to match your description.

Are there a lot of fantasy elements (like she's a psychic FBI agent?) or just the one vision or premonition of his mother dying years ago?
