Let's get SEVEN SHARDS into Quill!

Thanks guys! I'm both touched and honored by your support :)
Let's see what I can add to these topics...
Cover: I've gone back and forth on this. I've received a lot of good feedback on the current cover, but I do agree that it doesn't tell you much about the story. I might play around with layering some character images into it. The biggest problem is finding the time for it, but now that the holidays are over that should be looking up.
Blurb: Ah! I am so terrible at writing blurbs for my own stuff! Hmm...directly applying your feedback, perhaps "The final revolution will soon divide the land. The Star Reader could stop it all...but should she?"
Yay/Nay?
Promotion Q's:
1. I've pretty much tapped out my personal contacts and extended circles (some kind family members reached out to their larger circles already, and quite successfully). I am going to reach out to a larger group at work next week, which I've been putting off because I'll need to carefully word the message so that it doesn't look like soliciting. Lately I've been getting dribbles of passive results, from blog posts, forum signatures, fellow authors, etc. There are a few people who have mentioned their intention to buy that I need to follow up with.
2. Nope!
3. I'm active on the BPAL forum and already posted on there. And I have a nice circle of NaNoWriMo friends, many of whom have already purchased a copy. I might be able to revisit some of the FB groups I posted in a while back with a friendly reminder that the window is closing.
Again, Thank You!!!!

You want to make sure that you know the protagonist, something unique about them, their struggle, and the stakes if they fail.
My iPad just made about fifty thousand beeps, LOL! Thank you, thank you, thank you SO much! I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep tonight, but if I do it will be full of the happiest dreams. Wow. Thank you!

There's a month to go and 35 orders left for Seven Shards: The Color of Wine, so this is definitely doable friends -- our Dax promotion proves it!
Cover Critique: I actually tried and failed a few months back to create a new cover for this book, since the pattern is dynamic but doesn't give you a sense of the world. I'll give it another shot and see what I come up with.
Blurb Critique: The final revolution is coming. She could stop it...but should she?
We have stakes and an intriguing story question, but don't know who our MC is, or why the stakes matter to her.
Promotion questions:
1. What is your current method of promotion?
2. Do you have 150 additional contacts (perhaps in the game industry) that would back your book?
3. What communities are you connected to outside of Inkshares that would be a good fit for a reader base for this book?
