Ben | 3 comments Greetings!

Glad we have a place to showcase our blogs. I blog about the books I read and the ways I promote literacy in my classroom and building.

Jamey Boelhower | 6 comments Good afternoon,

I was thinking of making a New Years resolution on reading, but came across this idea on twitter. Excited to do this.

I blog about life at
https://itisallconnected.wordpress.com/

And about educational ideas at
https://ideasforeducation.wordpress.com/

Laura Agnella (lagnella) Wow! I love all of your blogs. I started blogging about books about two years ago and I will admit it is quite an addiction. Such a great way to communicate with others about your passions and interests. Thanks so much for sharing!

Joanne Toft | 7 comments I have two blogs as well - although one is in transition right now.

https://wordsfromjl.wordpress.com/

Thanks for reading. Yes, it is addictive. You never know who might read your post and how it might help them. At times you wonder if anyone reads a single word, then another post generates all kinds of responses. I look forward to blogging about the books I read for this challenge.

I have the same problem with doing something after reading a book. Too many times we read books alone, so even talking about them is hard. I like the 3 things idea. Doing the Sixty Books Challenge could be the spark to keep blogging. :)

Jamie | 5 comments This is my website: http://www.conversationpieceslearning...

It has a blog component, but it's primarily an enrichment resource for grades 3-8, so it includes book recommendations in various categories. I always have more plans for it, and I wish I knew something about graphic design every time I update it! My time tends to go toward teaching, other writing projects, and reading instead.

Thanks for sharing all of your blogs. I'm going to add them to my Feedly!

How do you all keep track of the blogs you follow?

message 13: by Jeffrey (new)

Jeffrey Keefer (jeffreykeefer) | 9 comments Ahh, the tracking of blogs . . . I like subscribing if they are via WordPress, though otherwise have not found a feed reader I like since the old Google Reader shut their doors. Some of my colleagues use inoreader http://www.inoreader.com/ and swear by it, though I have just not really found a workflow I like.

What do others do?

message 14: by Cassandra (new)

Cassandra | 3 comments I'm with Jeffrey, but I never really found a reader I liked. Most of the time I'll try and and then feel overwhelmed.
If I can subscribe to a blog via email, I do that. Else, I use Twitter to keep up with new posts.

Definitely looking for a better way, so if any one has an app recommendation, I'd love it.

message 15: by Jeffrey (new)

Jeffrey Keefer (jeffreykeefer) | 9 comments Indeed, Cassandra, I also prefer email notifications. Many do not post specs in Twitter, and if they do I must miss them.

message 16: by Carole (new)

Carole Matthews | 2 comments I have restarted an old blog - http://prairie-prose.blogspot.com/ to track and comment on my SixtyBook reading. I will include a Tweet when I update for those who follow Twitter. Hope you enjoy it.
