For this challenge you will pick a main genre, then choose a specific sub-genre in the main genre and read as many books as you can in a year for that subgenre. This is so you can immerse yourself into a subgenre and really find great books to read that you may otherwise never have looked for.
For example:
I choose the main Romance genre
Within the Romance Genre I choose the Regency subgenre
For the next year I read as many Regency Romance genres as I can.
You can choose up to a maximum of 2 subgenres. The point of this challenge is for you to get very familiar with a subgenre and that can't happen if your have 6 or 7 subgenres to read for. So only a max of 2 please.
