Thanks Angela. Maybe I can pick some good ones. We'll see.
So glad to be starting fresh today. Because that's what I'm doing--starting fresh. Everything I hadn't finished in 2015 has been shelved somewhere, and hopefully I can ditch some of the bad reading habits I've developed the past couple of years. Now to decide what my first book of the year will be. I feel like some good nonfiction...

Thanks guys!
Well, I'm getting off to a slow start this year. That's okay, though, I've had some things going on in my personal life, and somehow I managed to pick up a stomach bug that's kept me weak for a few days now. It's all good, though. I'm starting to feel better today.I'm currently reading 2 nonfiction books, Rabid: A Cultural History of the World's Most Diabolical Virus, and Papillon. Both are good. And I started a fiction book last night. It's the novel for the new Leonardo DiCaprio movie I've been wanting to see:The Revenant: A Novel of Revenge. So far I'm enjoying it.
3 books at a time is going to have to be my limit for now. That's just got to be a rule. Otherwise, I'll end up reading 20-30 books at a time, and I'll only get around to ever finishing a few of them. The real challenge this year is not to do what I did last year and the year before: read constantly, but yet rarely finish a book. Can't be doing that anymore.

Glad you're better, Chuck. I like your goal--good luck!

Welp, it's the first day of the second month of the year, and I just managed to finish my first book, Hidden Bodies. It was a very fun read, BTW. But yeah, this is not exactly a great start to my challenge. Frankly, I can't remember ever having read so little at this point--oh, and I broke my 3-book rule. It's now about a 5-book rule, lol. But it's all going to be alright. Double digit month coming up!
Weird coincidence: I was just thinking this afternoon that I hadn't seen you post in a while. Glad you're reading now, Chuck, and I hope things are okay with you.

I hope everything is going well for you, too. I see you've been on a real tear--24 books already? Wow! I need to just get back to reading half of what you read, lol!
