I'm looking for a book I read in the 1980s/90s. It was about a Victorian middle class family where the husband was a lecherous person who kidnapped their nanny, locking her in a room filled with pornography. I think he might have also kidnapped his children too. His wife engaged legal help at one stage. Eventually there is a romance with the nanny and it's happily ever after. Sorry, can't remember if it was a hard back or paperback.
