Travis (travishiltz) | 196 comments Only a casual fan, so I'll wait for netflix to get it.

I am impressed that is the most faithful version of a costume since Christopher Reeve's Superman.

and I'm happy Ryan Reynolds is finally getting a good comic book movie.
Poor guy tries so hard. He deserves one to do well.

I agree! We finally have a comic book character with a faithful costume! I'm actually excited about what they are going to do with Colossus in this film!

Ginny Atkinson (djinn) | 2 comments You can only have a true Deadpool movie if it's R rated. He is just too much for a simple PG-13. Though I think it will tank, I know I will at least enjoy that mouthy merc.

Travis (travishiltz) | 196 comments My worry now is people will think "Deadpool was R! If we make our comic book movie R people will love it!!" and that's not a trend I have faith in.
Logan works as an R, Aquaman or the Falcon doesn't.

I worry about that too. There are some comic book characters that can work as an R rated superhero film, like Wolverine, but there are others like Flash and Superman that couldn't work as a R rated film and that could ruin the whole superhero film industry if it's not handled correctly.

My rule is generally if that character is on a lunchbox, then keep it PG.

Ronyell (rabbitearsblog) | 105 comments I just saw the Deadpool movie and I LOVED IT!!! I think they did Deadpool's character justice and I just loved the mix of humor and action in this movie. I also thought that Colossus was a nice addition to the cast as he did provide some good laughs alongside with Deadpool.
