Sue Wyshynski | 3 comments Hi All,
I'd like to suggest my new book, The Butterfly Code, a transhumanist action-adventure for readers who like their science fiction with a side of romance.

It's available here on Kindle Unlimited, and has 33 reviews on Goodreads and 50 reviews on Amazon (with an overall rating of 4.6).

description

My friends say Hunter's dangerous
They say he's a threat to everyone in town.
But I'm not so sure.
As he stands before me in this crowded club with the lights shining around us, I catch something good under Hunter's dark facade. Something decent and profound.
I don't know who or what to believe.
But I will find out the truth.

Aeris Thorne is expecting a restful vacation in the remote town of Deep Cove. But on a stormy night, she meets the alluring and mysterious Hunter Cayman, and her life takes an exhilarating turn. Aeris is both drawn to him and determined to find out what he's hiding in his lab on the promontory. But what Aeris doesn't know is that he's tormented by a secret: the truth behind his research. As he and Aeris are drawn together, the walls he's built to protect himself threaten to crumble. At the same time, she begins to wonder if she's found the key to unraveling her own tragic past. When Aeris's life is threatened, Hunter is forced to make an impossible decision about her future--one that could change everything.

Q: So why should readers give this book a try?
A: Because The Butterfly Code is a swift-paced page-turner that's packed with every emotion you could think of. The forbidden relationship plot will steal your attention, and the twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat. Every character is not what they seem, and no plot line is ever what you are expecting. Ultimately readers who like mystery, angst, danger, dark secrets, betrayals, and characters that truly move them will love the book.

Kathy Golden | 9 comments Explain what's meant by "a side of romance." Is the book more sci-fi than romance or are the two about equal?

Also, in how many POVs is the story written?

Thanks.

Hi Kathy, sure! What's meant is that if you're coming at the book as a romance reader, the romance thread is not the complete focus of the book. There's also a strong action/science fiction theme. I'd say, yes, the two are about equal.

The book is written in one POV, first person present tense, from the main character Aeris Thorne.

Thanks for connecting!
