When I first started reading this, I felt little flashbacks to Michael Crichton's 'Timeline'. Certain things are similar, others are not. in theory, the plot and idea work quite well, in execution, only partially. I've enjoyed this book up to a point. I didn't feel like the latter part was handled very well in terms of execution. Crichton did it a lot better with Timeline, IMO.
