Alex | 2736 comments Hello, just stumbled across this:
https://www.goodreads.com/series/8888...
https://www.goodreads.com/series/1682...

Duplicate series, only with a different order (same numbering though). I'm not aware of any reason for them both to exist, so please delete one.

Thank you!

Ambryarock | 70 comments Hello, sorry I don't speak english very well. I added two books 10 minutes ago (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... and https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...) which are book no. 22 and book no. 23 of the "Mélusine" french series. And I followed the rules of the Librarian Manual to add books of a series. I did it because when I clicked on "(Mélusine #1(" for example so as to see the entire serie I didn't see the last two books. But then I realised that the serie already exists in another title but the titles of this books are not titled correctly (the "Mélusine #" is missing).
Here are the good ones : https://www.goodreads.com/series/5844... (+ the 2 books I added)
Here are books of the "wrong" series :
- book 6 : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
- book 10 : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
- book 11 : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
- book 13 : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
- book 16 : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
- book 19 : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
- book 20 : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
- book 22 : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
- book 23 : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... and https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
I hope I've explained myself clearly enough. Thank you !

Ashley E | 416 comments This looks like a combining issue. Do you know who the primary author should be, François Gilson or Clarke?

ETA: I think I've combined them all, and I made Clarke the primary author per the covers.

Thank you very much ! I have another question : would you mind adding book no. 22 (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...) and book no. 23 (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...) to the other books of the series please ? I know it's maybe just a detail but it's impossible to click on the '(Mélusine #22)' of the title so as to see the entire series. Thank you again for your answers and your work !

Ashley E | 416 comments No problem, somehow I missed doing that! I also found a few more that needed combining... Let me know if I've missed anything else.

Ambryarock | 70 comments Okay, thank you ! I actually found one more : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... but for this one, the author 'Clarke' is not mentioned.
And I think I found a book that need to be deleted. I think it's been created by mistake because there is no information (except the title) : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
This is the same book than this one : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

Ashley E | 416 comments Okay, I moved and merged the first one, since it was a duplicate without an ISBN. For the second, I added the primary author and combined it. Since it does have an ISBN, it appears to be a valid edition, though.
