yes she has a baby and i don't think the husband was a cop.she went to another city and got herself a job. However, i don't mind if you can recommend novels that have similar story line

i think i read the novel in 2010.

i am looking for a book about a heroine who ran away from her husbands parents after he died. however he was abusive and from a very rich family. after his death, she fled into hiding because she was pregnant and the husband's mother was ready to take the child from her when she gives birth. she met a rich man in a cottage who helped her to deliver the baby and also convinced her to marry him so as to protect her from her in-laws. I think he was an artist

Hi, can someone help me with a book I am looking for?
The lady fled away from her abusive husband with her daughter to another town. She eventually moved in with a guy who has a dog.

The daughter too was abused by the father when he burnt one of her fingers. The guy convinced her to face her husband for a divorce. She was able to provide evidence of his brutality when she released the pictures of her bruised body that she saved in her drive

The book I am looking for is not solved yet. it is not Gabriel's angel.

The lady fled away from her abusive husband with her daughter to another town. She eventually moved in with the hero who has a dog.

The daughter too was abused by the father when he burnt one of her fingers.

The hero convinced her to face her husband by demanding for a divorce and stopped running and she did.

She was able to present at the court pictures of the injuries that were inflicted on her body by the husband.

The hero and his family stood by her her during this period. The daughter also like the heo her mother met.

I remember that the heroine was scared of the cruel husband of hurting her mother and that was why she couldn't go to her for help.

The mother was later called to tell her where she is and was eventually brought down by the hero to see them
