Allison (alianora) | 105 comments Teen book - she works at a summer (day?) camp with little kids, so does her bff's brother, I think. She falls for him.

The only part I remember clearly is that the siblings share an old car that breaks down a lot. BFF says something about how she could have had a new room or a new-old car, and she thinks she chose wrong.

Allison (alianora) | 105 comments Bump because I just posted about it again - forgetting that I'd already posted last year!

I think this is a Bantam Starfire book, maybe?

Here is the description I found on Sweetheart Romances:
When flirtatious Molly decides she's through with boys forever, her best friend, Kristi, bets her that she can't stay away. Even Molly wonders if she can survive the whole summer without a date. Just as her determination weakens, she finds an unexpected ally - Kristi's handsome, idealistic brother, Ben.

Ben is just like an older brother to Molly. But when he helps her get a job at the public day camp where he works, she sees a side of him she's never seen before. And in spite of her bet with Kristi, Molly feels herself drawn to Ben. Could she be falling in love with him? And what will happen if Kristi finds out?

I skimmed the book on Openlibrary. There is a mention of the siblings driving a car that breaks down often.
