Amazon links only work on editions that have an ASIN. Added: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Okay, but now the links to B&N, Kobo, etc. don't link directly to the book in those stores. Is it a case of either/or where I can only use the ASIN or the ISBN?
Yes, they do on the ebook. You have to pick the right edition for the links to work.
The links search the book seller's catalog and are edition specific

Indeed, that's why there are two editions (it's actually a matter of luck that the ISBN works on Kobo/Nook, they often also need specific editions.)If you want to buy from the Kindle store, you need to choose the Kindle edition.
If you want to buy from a store where books are looked up by ISBN, choose the e-book edition.
Which links are available in the list is customised by the user, who may not have either Amazon or Kobo links, but GR users who use the "Get a Copy" links usually know how they work (or learn pretty quickly if they ask on the feedback group).
The link to my book on Amazon appears to be broken. All the other links to various stores (B&N, Kobo, etc.) are correct.
