Phoenix quietly opened the door and smiled at him. "I'm back," she said quietly. She shut the door behind her and sat back down in the chair.

Nickolas looked over as the door opened. He relaxed some seeing that it was Phoenix, "hey." he said softly smiling a little over at her.
She leaned back and crossed her leg over the other one. "What's it like to be a vampire?" she asked.
He shrugged a little staring at the wall. "Its weird... I mean I'm faster and stronger than I used to be."
She nodded a little. "And... What about feeding? Do you have to do that often?"
"I guess it really depends on what I have done.. I don't have to eateveryday like I used to." he explained
She nodded again. "Well, if you do get hungry, let me know. I'll find something for you."
He turned his blue gaze back to her and nodded a tad, "Alright I will." He said softly
She smiled back, leaning her head on her hand. "Do you think they'll really find a cure?"
He shrugged a bit, "Honestly I don't think so... I mean do they even know what went wrong to make us?"
She frowned slightly. "Actually, I don't think they do. I heard two scientists discussing it the other day, and they both didn't know."
He nodded, "See If they don't know what went wrong then they have no idea how to fix it."
She sighed a little. "I honestly see no point in trying to fix it. It's not you or any of the other vampires would try to kill anyone."
He nodded a little more, "Yeah honestly I don't even like to think about how I have to eat now."
She frowned slightly. "Yeah, it never has sounded too pleasant to me. I probably wouldn't be able to."
He shivered a little, "It's not pleasant... I thought the same thing, but I have done it and I don't like it."
"It's really a shame that you have to live like that," she said quietly. She looked down at the floor and sighed.
He nodded just a little, "I guess I will just have to deal with it now." He muttered
"Well, if they somehow find a cure, then you won't have to deal with it anymore," she said with a small smile.
He nodded, "Well yeah that's true." He answered.
She looked up at him and smiled more. "Well, we may not be able to leave the facility, but we can walk around." She stood up. "Would you like me to show you around? Perhaps you can find a way to escape along the way." She smirked.
He looked over at her and nodded," Alright let's go... I can only stare at the walls ad ceiling for so long." He said getting up and walking over to her," Would you be upset if i did?"
She smiled slightly as she led him out the door. "Not really, but I would envy you if you did," she said. A couple of the nurses gave them a weird look as they passed.
He chuckled a little as he followed her out," Maybe I'll jut have to come back for you." He replied not caring about the looks they were getting
She smiled and chuckled a little. "That would be wonderful," she said quietly.
He smiled at her and nodded," You are the first person to talk to me so I will have to come back and get you."
Her smile grew and she looked up at him. "That's really kind of you." She led him out into the courtyard. Many nurses and doctors were around. A few of them gave them a worried or disapproving look.
He looked over at her and nodded," I try to be when I can." He said with a grin. He looked around at where they where. He caught the looks of some of the other people and frowns slightly
Her smile slightly disappeared. "Don't worry about them. They're just afraid." She led him back inside.
He looked over at her and nodded," oh... It's not like I'm going to eat them."
She smiled. "I know, but they don't know that." She led him into a room, and she made a face when they entered. It was the feeding room.
He chuckled softly," If I was they wouldn't know it until too late." He replied looking around the room," How come I've never been taken here?" He asked
"You've been knocked out for quite awhile, remember?" She looked away as another vampire bit into a blood bag.
He nodded," Oh yeah I did know that." He answered watching the other vampire for a second before looking away
She bit her lip slightly. "Well, if you ever need to feed, this is the place to come to."
He looked back to her and nodded," Alright then." He said softly
"I uh... I think I need to get out of this room..." She quickly walked out the door and sighed.
He looked around the room as she walked out of the room. He walked out after her," I should have figured out you needed to leave sooner." He said looked at her closing the door behind him
She smiled slightly. "I'm good with handling blood, but watching people drink it just gives me chills."
He nodded," I know.. Drinking it is weird." He answered looking over at her
"I bet it is." She smiled and looked up at him.
"Sometimes I have to close my eyes." He admitted
She nodded slowly. "I probably would die from starvation," she admitted.
"I have just about done that." He answered quietly
