Rachel was waiting for the people who were awkwardly standing around in her cave to do something or leave. She was almost shocked when they came to talk to her. "I don't have a quest for just anyone who comes around," she explained.

((Sure. Quest members and godly parents? It's usually a quest of 3, but I'll allow a quest of 2 if need be.))

Rachel had been about to wave goodbye, when the will of the deities struck. There went the prophecies.

"Gaea strikes the raven's throat,
Dark, deep fire fills the moat
Of secret halls of stone and fire
Filled with hatred and with ire

Find the mortal boy enslaved,
Free him within five days,
West to the saint's mountain,
West to the state of America's leader,
West to freedom..."

So, the last bit didn't technically rhyme, but it was good enough to get them to Mount Saint Helen, at the least.

((Okay. Anuki heard of a camper named illias going crazy seeing all of his biggest fears come to life. He disappeared a couple days ago. Illias is a son of Phobos. Campers wanted to look for him but heard of his power to make people see their worst fears in front of them, so they didn't want to. Anuki heard of this and gathered 2 other campers for the quest to find Illias. I was thinking they could find phobos in hopes he would know where Illias is. On top of that, Anuki wants to know if there is any way he could not be affected by the power of seeing his worst fears when he sees Illias. Illias is also going to turn out to be Anukis' brother. Illias was adopted by Anukis' mother. Also, everyone is going to have to face their worst fears in this quest. I was thinking this would happen as a way of Phobos trying to keep them away from him or even leading them to him?

((Why would Phobos lead them astray? And what are their fears? Also, do you have an idea of what you want to be the way to not be affected by Illias's ability? Any specific locations you want to be included, or where you want them to find Illias?

Phobos could try to keep them away because he doesn't want to help them. Maybe he was behind Illias going crazy. Maybe as a part of a deal with Ares and Hades? There was a son of his named Brian who could never succesfully achieve his life goal because of Anuki. Hades is holding a tantrum because Anuki helped his brother Ethan, who is Hades' son, escape the underworld. I know one of the campers' fear is to fail her mom. Anukis' biggest fear is his two swords breaking. Ironically, they were gifts from Ares and Hades from Anukis' last quest. His bestest friends were lost in that quest, one being a son of Hades and the other Ares. Those swords are all he has left of them. They have an energy to them as if they are there with Anuki. I'll figure the other campers' fear out. No place specific. I would just like for them to have to fight Phobos. I would also like them to have to visit the Underworld to talk to Hades.

Phobus is the god who is messing with them, with a deal with Ares and Hades, who bear grudges against our MC, Anuki, who survived where their children did not. They work together to torment these kids while they try to rescue their friend, just because they bear mean grudges. In order to avoid being sent mad by the ability, they need to find a lens to look through that shows the truth. They fear: Losing the last gifts of dead friends. Not being good enough to godly family, Athena/Demeter. Failing her mortal mother.

They will visit:
The Underworld to barter with Hades/Face worst fears
Clifton Road in New Jersey to meet Phobus
Alamo for Ares
They start hating Phobus because he's a jerk who drove their friend crazy, but they start liking him because he's a charismatic jerk?))

Also, if it will help make a better plot, Illias is Anukis' brother by adoption but neither of them know that. I only had three places in mind so far. The Underworld for sure. I was hoping Anuki could talk to Hades. The Alamo is where I wanted them to meet with Ares. Clifton Road in New Jersey is where I either wanted them to meet phobos or be where they get their worst fears. It could be both to. It is a pretty long road. Maybe things get crazier there because they start getting really close to Phobos? I don't know lol. At this point, I'm just throwing in stuff.

((I am here, but I need basics. Who is in the quest? Godly parents? What do you want to happen? Adventures/treasures/tragedies/etc. Places you want to go? What's the big problem? Without this context, it's very difficult to instantly whip up a quest.))

“I see...”. Rachel besitated. Usually this was all normal. A camper went missing and never returned to camp. Typical stuff. It was tragic, but typical... and not usually questworthy.
