11. Read a book under 100 pages
Je serai un territoire fier et tu déposeras tes meubles ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (76 pages)
18. Read a book that was adapted into a movie, then watch the movie. Debate which is better.
Carmen et autres nouvelles ⭐⭐⭐Well it's hard to compare, because every Carmen are different. It became known with the 1875 ballet and this representation of Carmen is the one that stuck. Subsequent Carmens are usually more lovable, the one in the original book is more despicable.
19. Read a nonfiction book about feminism or dealing with feminist themes
Second début ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Essay about what feminist was, what it is, and now how we should rebuild it. Give it a second start. Geo-politically set in Quebec Canada.
4. Read a book out loud to someone else
Nous sommes tous des féministes⭐⭐⭐⭐

Je serai un territoire fier et tu déposeras tes meubles by Steve Gagnon Carmen et autres nouvelles by Prosper Mérimée Second début by Francine Pelletier Nous sommes tous des féministes by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

I know it's not really consider fiction, but that's why I love challenges like theses, you can fit it to you or your interpretations of something. Since I know I will not be reading anything from the historical genre, this book will have to do.

18. Read a book that was adapted into a movie, then watch the movie. Debate which is better. - The Martian by Andy Weir (adapted into an Oscar Nominated movie starring Matt Damon)

I finished the book The Martian this week, and I watched the movie starring Matt Damon. Because I'd seen previews for the movie before I started the book, I actually heard Damon's voice when I read the main character. I think he was a good choice for the role. The book was fantastic, I loved the premise and I felt like there was enough explained so that it was a believable scenario. This is the ultimate of survival stories.

I loved both the book and the movie - the movie gives more insight to what is happening on Earth, which does take you away from the isolation of the character during times when he should not know anyone is with him. That's the benefit the book has over the movie - it keeps you isolated with the main character longer, with less interruptions as to what is happening on Earth or elsewhere. But it was a good adaptation, and the changes were necessary to capture the mainstream movie audience.
