I'm reading the first one of this and liking it so far. A large duck laying an egg in traffic? Maybe I shouldn't be so scared of writing a book. If a book can do well with that in there then maybe I've got a shot. lol
I was very surprised by the first book and how much I liked it. It was different and alot can be said for different.
The duck scene is one of my favorite parts of the first book.
I liked it but it made me laugh that such a thing could be in the book.Looks like the release date has been moved to the 20th. Maybe we should move buddy reads around? How about we start Sparrow Hill now, followed by either The Singer or The Crimson Campaign?
I saw a June 3rd release date listed on Barnes & Noble and Amazon is now listing this as unavailable. :(
I tweeted Alyssa and asked, "I've been awaiting the arrival of The Unforgiven but release date keeps changing. What happened? It's the giant duck, right? lol"Her response, "it's this fall. Sorry!"
I'm uncertain if that means she had a fall and got hurt ergo the book is late or it's been delayed until fall.
Bummer. I guess that gives us more time for the Rachel Morgan re-read.
