Good choice! I really loved that book. It's really touching and I loved the inclusion of all that culture: books and songs. You should listen to some of the song on you tube or read some of the books Chbosky wrote about if you have the time. The movie was also really good, and the 3 kids -- and actors playing them -- are so lovable. You could use it for the Book Riot challenge if you're participating.
