Reviews For Books Not Released Yet

I have had several authors and readers tell me they have seen books that have been listed on Goodreads by the author and before it is even released or ARC's have been sent out there are 1 star reviews with no comments.

Several authors and readers have requested that these be removed and that it is not right to do so before anyone has read it. I started looking and I Have noticed this also before and after ARC's.

What can we do when this happens?

It's GR policy to allow readers to rate and "review" however they like, including showing excitement or disdain for a forthcoming release.

Scott is correct. However, this is also not a Librarians Group issue (or a Goodreads Librarian issue at all, as Librarians have nothing to do with moderating reviews or ratings), but one for the Feedback Group, or you may wish to use the Contact Us link on the Help page. Librarians can help with issues pertaining to specific book records or most related issues, but have no control over general site functionality or related issues. Closing thread.
