I had the pleasure of reading the first book in this series and would have purchased the second without hesitation (however, the author was kind enough to provide a copy for review). The Bitter End doesn’t disappoint! The story begins with Captain Em Ridge taking an eccentric conspiracy theory TV host on voyage to the Bermuda Triangle, the host’s goal is to prove the mysteries of the triangle, when they come upon an abandoned boat floating in the heart of the triangle, Captain Em realizes immediately that she knows this vessel and its owner. The boat belongs to her beloved Uncle Ferd and she’s determined to find out what happened.

This story is full of twists and turns and sub-mysteries. As with the previous novel, the characters are well developed and the scenes are vivid and vibrant. I really did enjoy the story, but felt that author used too much filler and repetition in this novel and perhaps another round of editing would have been in order, however don’t let that deter you, this was a great story and I would recommend picking up both book 1 and 2 in this series.

This book was provided to me for free for an honest and unbiased review (see all our reviews at http://www.bookexplosions.com/ or on Goodreads at https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/... )
