internal and external conflict

In the book Like No Other the the Main characters Devorah and Jaxon have many instances of internal and external conflict. One example of this is when they are stuck in the elevator with Devorah he really wants to date her but he is scared which resulted in internal conflict. Devorah also wants to date Jaxon but her religions forbids it which results in internal conflict as well. This is one example of internal conflict in Like No Other.
