This is very obvious. She faces her conflicts with the thinking of a red not a silver, she cant trust herself, and she cant adjust to the life of a Silver. She worries about her family and she worries that she isn't worrying about her families enough.

She also faces conflict between Maven and Cal because, she likes both, but has to choose one. This is internal conflict because, Mare is battling with herself between Maven and Cal. This helps to drive the story because, she finds herself liking Cal, when she is supposed to like maven.
Liking both Maven and Cal, creates an external conflict between Mare and Evangeline. This is external conflict, because Evangeline tries to take down Mare, because Cal likes Mare, while his is supposed to like Evangeline. This drives the story, by creating growing tension between Evangeline and Mare.
