Frank.Uli So far in this book Cassie has been hiding out from the drones. The conflict in this book is that Cassie has to save herself and survive.

Frank.Uli Another conflict so far in this book is that Cassie promised her little brother Sam that she would go after him after he was taken away on a bus.

Frank.Uli Also, Cassie doesnt know if there are any more humans left on Earth and even when she does find some she can't trust them.
