We decided to read it in April instead. It was okay with Aurora and better for both Cassandra and me :)

Hi Julie, Anna Kerenina is one of the books I'd love to read this year and one that has always made me feel intimidated. When are you planning on reading that? I have not read War and Peace either so I'm game for that one as well.

A buddy read is set up for Okt-Dec :) I'm reading it this year too!
War and Peace is running now if you actually want to tackle them both in a year. I love russian literature, but I think one is enough for me in a year lol.
Ohh I can do the October-December. How do I know when it starts, what edition and all the specifics. I'm new at this, if you couldn't tell.

In War and Peace, for example, we divided it in books and chapters, so everyone can follow, instead of number of pages.
The MODs thread in this discussion folder has all the Buddy Reads scheduled so far. Just check it sometimes.

Hi Ana. I've added you to both BRs. The BRs are listed in the BRs folder in the group under the relevant month. For example, War and Peace is in the March folder and Anna Karenina will be in the October folder when October rolls around.
Hi Aurora and Harsha,I'd be up for Ulysses (I've tried reading it a couple before but not got very far into it) but as I begin my next trimester at university next Monday I won't be able to do it this month.
Do you want me to start a thread for this book for you both for this month? I'll spread it over a couple of months depending on the length of the book when I do add it.
I wanted to read Ulysses too, but I won't have time for a couple months, as I'm reading a lot of big books right now =(

Hi Zara and Gabriella! Aurora and I were planning to start it around the end of this month, but others can join in too! It'd be great if you could create a thread for the book, maybe on a two to three month timescale :) The more the merrier, especially given how intimidating it is! Thanks a ton :D
Question, are buddy reads only for fictional literature or can one use this for nonfiction, historical works, etc?Thanks!

Buddy reads can be for any genre, fiction and non-fiction alike.
