Red. Queen sounds great. I got it from the library.

I am doing it in January.
Zara wrote: "Are there any takers for 'War and Peace' and if so which months do you want over?"I think I am doing Anna Karenina instead.

Not January, lol. I have about 15-20 books already. I think doing it over several months is a very good idea.
Yeah, I'm definitely full for January too. Beyond that, I can do it anytime. We also don't necessarily need to schedule it now if we'd like to wait and see how the year goes. I'm good with anything.
I'm pretty flexible with a little notice to plan. Doing over a long period makes it much more doable. I am in the middle of Don Quixote. It is taking some commitment and I believe it is about 400 pages shorter than War and Peace. So much reading :)
My phone won't let me reply to your comment, Zara, but January works for me as well! For Miss Peregrine's :)
Zara wrote: "For those who are wanting to do 'War and Peace' how does March - June sound?"Sounds good for me. I change too if that works for more ppl. The more the merrier.
Jessa wrote: "My phone won't let me reply to your comment, Zara, but January works for me as well! For Miss Peregrine's :)"Oh yeah :)
Hayley wrote: "I'll be reading The Luminaries in January."It looks like a good book. I have it in my tbr. But I don't think I can sqeeze in any more :( I'd love to do it though. If. I get through my list faster than expected i could let you know. Otherwise I could do it in February.

Gone Girl is on my list to read this year. I will happily join in on a buddy read.

I'd be up for Nightingale or All The Light We Can Not See, but I have enough for January thus far. If you feel like doing them later on in January or in February, let me know!

The Nightingale February?
The Nightingale is nominate for one of the books for the Group read in February. I think it could win (not only because I vote for it) So maybe we can wait to see it, if not I am also for it!
Julie, Jessa, and Zara I'm in for Miss Peregrine in January! My computer froze and wouldn't let me reply to anyone.
Caro wrote: "The Nightingale is nominate for one of the books for the Group read in February. I think it could win (not only because I vote for it) So maybe we can wait to see it, if not I am al..."I thought that too Caro ^^ I think we should wait and set it up if it doesn't win :)
Tyler wrote: "A Game of Thrones"I just got A Game of Thrones on my Kindle from the library. I was wait listed forever! I am planning to start it up mid January if you want to buddy read it with me I'm game!
Meagan wrote: "Julie, Jessa, and Zara I'm in for Miss Peregrine in January! My computer froze and wouldn't let me reply to anyone."Do we have a folder for Miss Peregrine's?
I'm in for War and Peace too! I just realized I never commented. Also, I noticed a lot of people are planning to read Gone with the Wind this year. Would anyone be interested in a buddy read since its so big? Maybe do it after War and Peace is finished in June??
Count me in for War and Peace and also Gone with the Wind too please, happy with whenever suits everyone else!
Are we going to do Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children? Also, Amanda and wanted to start Divergent 1/ 11 if others would like to join. Are we buddy reading Gone with the Wind, I didn't see a date? Is War and Peace starting in March and running though June? Thanks I just dont want to lose track.
Jessa wrote: "I was wondering about Miss Peregrine's as well, Julie!"I still would like to read it but I bought it, so it really won't kill me to wait to schedule it next month. It isn't the longest book in world though so we could still do it in January. What do you think?
Flipping through the it, it didn't look like it would be a difficult read. I'm still game for January. :)
I will definitely join in on War and Peace for March-June. That sounds perfect.Thinking ahead: Anyone want to do a buddy read for February? I've been meaning to read some David Mitchell (Cloud Atlas, The Bone Clocks) or A Little Life. I love the sound of the Nightingale. Mainly I just want to join whatever else is going on!
I will like a Little life but in April or after if I OK for you. Also I think it will take two or three months. Long book, tough topic

Thank You for the info guys. I am not sure what happened with Divergent. I don't see a thread and I didn't get a reply. We can just pm each other and break up the pages I guess? Not sure how else to proceed with that one. As for Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children we all still have some time to hear back so I am going to wait to start it for a bit.
So The Witches: Salem, 1692 won for February... I was hoping for The Nightingale... Already read the other one... Who is finally going to do The Nightingale next month?
Caro wrote: "So The Witches: Salem, 1692 won for February... I was hoping for The Nightingale... Already read the other one... Who is finally going to do [book:The Nightingale|21..."I'm going to read it! I got it for christmas by my secret santa - no longer secret ^^ so exited!!
