((Should we skip a bit? Maybe to when he leaves to town, to get his pack-mates.))

Maya smacked his arm playfully "hey, don't knock my awesome pizza making skills. You are just jealous" loading the pie with pepperoni, humming pleasantly to herself. "NO PROMISES" she shouted after him waiting until he was out of the room and otherwise occupied before munching on the leftover pepperoni slices. Maya would try to restrain herself from eating all of it, but would ultimately fail. The cat just really loved pepperoni

"Promise me you'll stay inside. No matter what you hear, keep hidden until I return." Caleb repeated; Just as he had the entire morning. Anxious about leaving her alone despite an uneventful nught, even more so of his pack-mates being near. There hadn't been any sign of their attacker in hours, but unease prickled down his spine. "If anythjng happens..." A shake of his head. Maybe he was getting attached. Drawing on a loose coat, he turned to glance at her a final time. "Anything goes wrong, you.could always pretend to be my human girlfriend." A playful, forced smile. His scent.might be enough to cover hers, seeing as she'd stolen many of his clothes lately. He took a deep breath a.nd headed for the door but paused with his hand avainsg the knob. Was he doing the rught thing? An intruder, a threat like the white wolf, mught cause them more trouble if she got close again. Taking a deep bresth to calm his worry. Telling himself Maya would be fine, it was only.for an hour or two.

Maya stared at the door after he left, then let out a string of curses before picking up the broom and continuing where she left off last night. It was quiet throughout the entire house, the type of quiet that seemed to have weight and made her ears ring. The cat swept and tried to keep herself distracted but her eyes kept going back to the door. She had no idea how long he would be, so there was no point in driving herself crazy about it. Sweep sweep sweep. Sweep sweep - the cat threw down the broom in disgust and plopped down on the couch, blowing out a sigh. It was going to be a long day

Drake remained crouched within the underbrush, concealed in the shadows by long, ebony fur. His ears twitched as he listened to the fading steps of his brown pack-mate. Jaws parted to drink in the staling scents. Caleb only made this so much easier - No longer needing to be lured from the cabin. Instead, he was clampering right into the trap set. Of course, the white wolf never would of tracked them on her own. A beautiful girl, indeed; It'd been a shame to despose of her. But she'd outlived her use, and Drake didn't like loose ends. Espically those who stood in his way of becoming alpha. For months, Caleb had done just that - Always winning favorism. And what for? Drake bit back a snarl as he slunked out from the tree-line. Towards the cabin.

"You can't!" Caleb drew himself upright; The ice-pack deposited on the cushion behind him. Although aware this gave her means of escape, a selfish part of him couldn't bare to watch her slip away. A painful lump weighed in his chest at the idea. He swallowed, his eyes filtered towards the cat. Of course she would want to go, wouldn't she? "Let me escort her." A mere whisper.
