If I Stay

Conflict in If I Stay

Hello,
I am reading If I Stay and I would like to talk about internal and external conflict in the book.
First of all, the car crash is a clear physical conflict in the book. This is because the affect of this problem is a physical one (three family members die). This conflict is very important because the book revolves around it.
I think the all of the book after the car crash is an internal conflict. It is man vs. nature where Mia has to decide whether she wants to stay of die. The resolution to this conflict is when finally, on the last page of the book, Mia wakes up and decides to live.
