Weekly topic for discussion - Your top reads in 2014?

We've finished the first quarter already (can't believe it) and hopefully you've had some great reading experiences already.

What are some of the best books you've read this year? If you have one that was your most favorite, please share it with us!

The Hunger Games! The first book in the series I could not put down! The other two I liked almost as much. But the first one was amazing!!

The ones that have stayed with me the longest this year are the two military series...one by Jessica Scott...the Coming Home series, and the second Tallgrass series by Marilyn Pappano.

I thought both were thought-provoking and outstanding.

One of my favorites! I recently read the second book and am waiting to read the third closer to when the film is released.

The Goldfinch is now at the top of my list of all time favorites, and really enjoyed What Alice Forgot and Where'd you go Bernadette.

I think I have I tie. I loved Friendship Bread by Darien Gee and Shadow Spell by Nora. Both are excellent reads.

Dark Witch by Nora Roberts and Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers. Both have magic in them, but TOTALLY different overall.

I love Karen Rose
