I read the review and she doesn't actually say anything bad about The Angel's Game. She slams Goodreads, Zafon, and The Shadow of the Wind, but all she says about The Angel's Game is that she won't read it. If she didn't like The Shadow of the Wind that's a a reasonable choice since IMHO they are very similar.

Well, not everyone's going to like every book. I didn't like Eon Dragoneye Reborn or Evermore, and people rave about these books.

Oh! Michael Scott, that's who I won't read unless there's absolutely nothing else available. I'm buying a copy of The Sorceress just because I want to have the complete hardcover set (I read and disliked The Alchemyst), they are pretty and maybe someday when I have kids, one of them will dust them off and read them. Whether they'll like or dislike it, who can say?

That's fine if he didn't like the book but the guy said he didn't read it and was not going to read it. That's what I took issue with.
