Sharon wrote: "I have made several attempts to update my original post today. I can't. I'm not sure what to do."Hi, Sharon,
If you can give us some more details, I'm sure one of us can help you. It looks like you successfully edited your original message a few days ago, so we just have to repeat those steps.
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
So…you clicked the "Edit" link on that post, ya? And then what happened? Are you on a Mac or Windows PC, or an Android, iOS, or Windows mobile device?
Also, I don't think it's absolutely imperative that we update our original messages. I think the important thing is that our challenge moderators have the info they need to keep things updated. So at worst, if you simply post a new message saying that you are updating message 143 with the following new information, and then list the updates you would have made to the original message, I think that would be fine.
(Cassandra, hope I'm not stepping on any toes here…)

Great job everyone!Nik - thanks for helping out!
Another thing to mention is that sometimes Goodreads itself has problems with editing posts... That usually happens if there is a lot of lag with the servers. Sometimes you just have to let it be and try again later.
Bobbi - no problem! Thanks for letting me know.
Kristine - that's perfect!

I'm using Windows. Whenever I hit edit, it just goes to the top of my post, but doesn't have a text box and the edit option is gone. I'll just make new posts.
