The Mark of Athena
question
Do you think Jason's fatal flaw is being too calm during battle?

I do. In the Mark of Athena, he was unconscious for like half of the book, and in the House of Hades, he wasted a perfectly fine enterance with the dwarves, just to end up not using it at all. but he made up for that at the end when he busted into the house of hades like,"is the the guy who needs killing?

I believe that his fatal flaw would have to be that he is always wanting wanting to be the leader and when he isn't the leader he always thinks that he didn't do enough.
I think you forgot the giant fights in the end of this book..
“Look out!” Percy yelled.
Jason had fast reflexes. As Otis threw, Jason rolled. The point sailed over him and Jason flicked his hand, summoning a gust of wind that changed the spear’s direction. It flew across the room and skewered Ephialtes through his side just as he was getting to his feet.
“Otis!” Ephialtes stumbled away from his control board, clutching the spear as he began to crumble into monster dust. “Will you please stop killing me!”
“Not my fault!”
There are several other examples too if you want :)

But that scene happened because of Percy, if he hadn't shouted, "Look out!" Jason would have died.

Welll since Jason is a son of Jupiter, maybe power? Like Thalia? Not sure though...
I don't think its a fatal flaw. I think your confusing calm with rational though, He is a leader and he has to be able to asses the situation with a clear head.
I would appreciate it if you did not say I was confused Sabrina
It seems Jason and Percy may have the same fatal flaw. They are both really loyal and will do anything for their friends.
I think being calm in battle is a really good strength. His fatal flaw is doubting himself too much.

Not a flaw. The later books show that he is indecisive though.
I don't know. Maybe but that really isn't fatal or a flaw. You do have a point though he is pretty calm but not really a fatal flaw
