Romeo and Juliet may be the greatest love story ever told, but a puzzling unsolved mystery lies behind this popular Shakespeare play: Why did the Montagues and Capulets hate each other so much in the first place? My co-author, Amy Helmes, and I decided to tackle this very question in our modern day adaptation of Romeo and Juliet.
