there you go. once people get on, they should be more than willing to help. Naura, last I knew, is pretty active. i can look around a bit and try to help find some winterish books

Thanks :). This seemed like the only popular book forum there is.
It was very active until i had to leave for the summer. then it dwindled down. i'm working on getting it active again, this one and a few others that i'm in charge of

1)There are tooo many books to go through
2)Some are more for female readers with the whole love couple things
3)Not sure if its good/worth to buy or not.
Hopefully someone on here soon can gimme suggestions. I WAS reading LOTR but thats too much and I am giving it a rest. Too big to carry to uni. I have lots of specifications for a good winter book I want to read h aha, quite fussy!

so you're still brand new. How many friends do you have already?

friends? As in real life or on here? None, not sure why I would add people. What does it achieve? I probably did read it but forgot haha

Soo hard too choose the right one. Not sure if I want fantasy, historic war theme, fiction/non fiction all with a winter theme haha!
hm. idk. i didn't have time to look last night. i...uh....well...things didn't go exactly as planned, but nothing bad happened. lol.

haha. Its just a shame there is no forum I can post a thread explaining what TYPE of book with a winter theme, I am looking for. I dont want to read the common ones like the charles dickens ones, narnia...etc.
when i have time i can do that on here

Thanks for the reply! hmmm I dont really know THAT many authors. When I was younger I used to read cherub, alex rider (main series), and a few others like, ways to live forever, boy in striped pyjamas, season of secrets etc. Are there any Agatha Christie winter type books if that makes sense? :3 haha! or one for A John Grisham? I know I am probably quite picky so I dont really mind, but just dont want anything romantic, science or really really old.
Agatha Christie Winter type..I know not sire :'D
One of my all time favourites of hers is : And then there were none. You must check it out :D I think you'll like it.
And Then There Were None
John Grisham- Check out - A Time to kill, The firm, The client- these are apparently some of his best.
OR..OH my God; Read Khaled Hosseini!
The Kite Runner or A thousand Splendid Suns. That's it. Go for it! It's a must read.
P.S: I really don't know if any of these are 'winter' types :P

I think everyone has. I guess it's kind of difficult to remain active when all your mods disappear though
*guilty* :(
