I can't exactly remember what the premise of this book is, but I do know that they meet when he kidnaps her as she's getting shot at in the library where she works. I think I remember this book more for the fact that the lady has a photographic memory and knows the Kama sutra from front to back more than anything else, lol. HELP!

Probably sometime around 2005-2009. Paperback! The cover, I believe, was red with a sexy kitten heeled black shoe and stocking covered leg. I may be wrong, but that's what comes to mind. Not sure if it was a series or not, I read it awhile ago.

That sounds like All Jacked Up by Penny McCall. The librarian has a photographic memory and there are references to the kama sutra (I scanned books.google.com).
