Jason Bujnoch | 18 comments The Genesis of Shannara trilogy by Terry Brooks is my go to reread. It's a journey from post apocalyptic America into a realm of pure magic that is my gold standard for fantasy writing. Terry's an icon for a reason and he makes me want to be a better story teller.

Brink Hall | 591 comments I know this isn't a paranormal romance but my go to book has always been Aimee by Mary Beth Miller. If I get in a mentally down state for too long or I just need a mental pick me up I read that. It was the book that sparked my love of reading.

message 173: by Kayla (new)

Kayla Pinkerman | 2 comments I don't completely reread books. I do like going back and reading my favorite scenes though.
Some of the ones I would gladly go back to are: Cranage Island (Lexi C. Foss). The next one isn't paranormal (it is a dark romance though) the series is called Ruthless Desires (Elira Firethorn). I adore all of the books in that series, but I'm waiting impatiently for the next one to come out.

fiore ♡♡ | 78 comments Mercy Thompson but specifically River Marked !!!! it's my favourite book in the novel.

A series that's severely underrated (and relatively newer) is the Jacky Leon series by K. N. Banet. The main character is a werecat bartender and book 1 is about how she is sworn to protect the human daughter of a werewolf Alpha from a werewolf coup. The romance is great, but the family dynamics between Jacky and her new werecat family (she was turned into a werecat) that's explored through each book is what makes the series imo.
