Title: One Grave Less
Author: Beverly Connor
Series: Diane Fallon #9
Date read: 11.06.14
Rating: ★★★★
Review:
This is great finish to a series. I'm gonna miss it.
We are following two stories at the same time. Diane's past is coming back. Before she became museum director, she was working as forensic anthropologists on mass graves in Brazil (or Peru). Now couple years later, one of her colleges is attacked in her museum, someone stole her email account, she's accused for dealing and Interpol is looking for her for murders. At the same time another forensic anthropologist is kidnapped in Brazil (or Peru - somewhere near border) thinking they got Diane. Diane is searching who's trying to ruin her name (and later to kill her). Lindsay managed to run away (with interesting help) from kidnappers and now is trying to get to somewhere where she can contact her boyfriend in USA to help her and Diane to warn her what's going on.
I have to say, I couldn't put it down.

It is really up to you whether you want to pick and read this week as it doesn't make a difference one way or another.

I've started reading Shield of Winter before rolling, but I got only to like ch 3, so if I start from beginning can still use that book?
And it's not stated that book is set in California, but 90% of the series is in San Francisco area and by what I've read about this one, it's the same thing. Can that pass as California?
If not, I'll dig something out.
Oh, new Atticus is coming out on Tue! ☺ If I manage to get my hands on that one in time, it's going to be it. Shattered 7th in series

I won't be able to get to it for another month.

Thanks! I will. (Already did actually, just in case :P)

I was very fast in the library. ☺ I've put it as recommendation as soon as it showed up in database, so I was fifth on the list.

All I'm gonna say, Leslie, is that I liked this one the most in series. :D

6/10/14 4 stars.
Good start to a new series for me. Things I liked and didn't like. But it finished strong.
